Meet Your New Oscars Red Carpet Style Icon: 89-Year-Old French Director Agnès Varda

You may know that Faces Places director Agnès Varda could become the oldest person ever to win a competitive Academy Award. You may not know that she’s also the most fabulously dressed person on this year’s Oscars red carpet, arriving on the scene sporting Gucci Mini Jardin de Rose pajama-style pants and matching cardigan.

Add a pair of white sneakers, rose-colored glasses, and her usual two-tone hair, and you have yourself a bona fide trendsetter. I, for one, would not be caught dead tomorrow wearing anything else.
